It is an honour to be one of the captains at the helm for this year's BITF. The success of BITF2007 is proof that the synergistic relationships between chambers of commerce, the state government, its respective agencies and relevant departments and corporations are necessary to achieve our common goals.

Sabah, being strategically at the centre of Asean, is the perfect venue to host any event. BITF2009 will once again set the stage that will foster greater relationship among its neighbouring countries and internationally. Sabah wish to welcome all especially our international participants to the BITF2009. The immense success of the 1st Borneo International Trade Fair 2007 held at Kota Kinabalu garnering participations from various exhibitors internationally is a clear indication that there is indeed an appreciation and a growing demand for wide audience and positions Malaysia as a destinations of business exchange.

I applaud BITF2009 working committee's earnest and colossal efforts in organizing this year's international trade fair. On behalf of KCCI, once again I wish to congratulate the Organizing Chairman and his committee for making an immense effort in ensuring the success of this trade fair. KCCI is proud to be a part of this event and will provide our upmost support and commitment in making it a continuous success.
